We have had the most random weather here lately...so most of the time we are stuck in the house. What do you do? You "take pictures!" Maddie's idea! :)

Pregnancy update!

For those of you who have been asking to see my belly..here it is in all its glory haha! Nothing special. :) (please excuse my wardrobe)


I had an appointment today and everythings looking good! Baby is measuring up right and the heartbeat was nice and strong. I can honestly say how AMAZING it feels to have a healthy 2 year old and a healthy baby growing inside of you. It really makes you feel blessed every single day! I can't be more thankful!

Next appointment is in early march where I will do my glucose test (to check for gestational diabetes) and then I will have appointments every 2 weeks after that. I'm looking forward to those...its always reassuring to have checkups more often!

Maddie has been coming with me to my appointments and has been such a good girl! She LOVES going to see "mommy's doctor" and "check on the baby." She also thinks there is a baby in her tummy and she says it "kicks and kicks." HAHA! Oh and according to maddie, daddy has a baby in his tummy too. SURPRISE, we are expecting 3 babies in may, not one! ;)

Only 15 more weeks and baby green will be here! I can't wait to share with everyone who this little addition is!

Cousin visit

We LOVE having maddie's cousins come to visit! They are so much fun and love to play. My stepsister, Holly, and I decided to start doing this once a month so we don't go months without visit like we have in the past. So next visit will be at their house in Lake Jackson. We are excited to start that up :)

Maddie and Aidan

As most of you know maddie loooooves her little boyfriend Aidan! We always try to get pictures of them together but that's pretty complicated considering they are both 2! We managed to get a few of them when I went to take some pictures of Aidan for Valentines Day (check out my photo blog to see Aidan's pictures).

Maddie's BIG girl room!!

A few months ago, Maddie told us she was ready to be in a big girl room....pretty much INSISTING we do it one night we weren't even prepared. But that's how it goes as a parent! You're not always ready when they are. :)

Here is a line up where we got her bedroom stuff:

Furniture: IKEA <---yes, all of it! We were/are really shocked how awesome and sturdy it is! Bought all of it for $700 (including tax). Way to bargain shop!

Bedding: Pottery Barn Kids <---my mom purchased this stuff for her birthday gift and we LOVE it! It looks hand stitched (who knows if it really is?) and its very durable. I can throw this whole quilt in the wash and not think twice about it.

Pictures of Maddie: I took here at the house and purchased at a website I use for photography stuff and only paid $2.50 a picture. The frames I paid $26 for both from Aarons Brothers.

"I am a Child of God" print: purchased off of Etsy for $24...if you want to know the vendor, I'll look it up.



Maddie is soooo excited and LOVES her big girl room! It took her all of 2 hours to get used to "sleeping" in her big girl room and we haven't had any trouble since. Easiest thing we have ever done!

Now...if we can just get her potty trained ;)

You know what always cheers me up and makes me feel better?? Madison's laughter :) I wish you could hear it now!

Maddie has had a cold this whole week and is still having trouble sleeping b/c of her congested nose, so sometimes she ends up sleeping in mommy and daddy's bed. Complete with her Tinkerbell blanket and her kitty. We don't mind :)

P.S. Don't you just love how sweet they look when they are asleep?

P.P.S. I am now officially "Amanda Green Photography", complete with a DBA and Tax ID! Yup, you may now call me Amanda Green DBA..HAHAHA :)
