Maddie's BIG girl room!!

A few months ago, Maddie told us she was ready to be in a big girl room....pretty much INSISTING we do it one night we weren't even prepared. But that's how it goes as a parent! You're not always ready when they are. :)

Here is a line up where we got her bedroom stuff:

Furniture: IKEA <---yes, all of it! We were/are really shocked how awesome and sturdy it is! Bought all of it for $700 (including tax). Way to bargain shop!

Bedding: Pottery Barn Kids <---my mom purchased this stuff for her birthday gift and we LOVE it! It looks hand stitched (who knows if it really is?) and its very durable. I can throw this whole quilt in the wash and not think twice about it.

Pictures of Maddie: I took here at the house and purchased at a website I use for photography stuff and only paid $2.50 a picture. The frames I paid $26 for both from Aarons Brothers.

"I am a Child of God" print: purchased off of Etsy for $24...if you want to know the vendor, I'll look it up.



Maddie is soooo excited and LOVES her big girl room! It took her all of 2 hours to get used to "sleeping" in her big girl room and we haven't had any trouble since. Easiest thing we have ever done!

Now...if we can just get her potty trained ;)
