Today was my last day of class for the semester. We have dead week next week and the following week is finals. I like that University of Houston has a whole week off instead of a day off like they did at SHSU.
The new gossip on campus was a student was found dead in his dorm. They said it was from "natural causes," but I don't know how dying at the age of 20 is natural. Anyways, a kid in class said that he heard the guy died from Tuberculosis, which he continued to say that it is contagious and other students live in that dorm with him. That is crazy! I am glad I no longer live in dorms and blessed that in all the years i was around sick people (i.e., the meningitis epidemic at humble HS) that I never caught anything!
