V-day continued

Our family valentines day was so much fun. Did I think, over 7 months ago that doing holidays for your kid made it so much more fun and worth all the effort? Saturday morning we opened our gifts to each other in bed, we are a lazy family :). Madison got 2 pink outfits and a pair of shoes! Mommy is a good discount shopper!! Daddy got a pair of heart boxers and a card that maddie signed herself. Really, she did! On friday, I heard the UPS guy come to the house and to my surprise i opened the door to find a box of FLOWERS. 2 dozen roses!! They were beautiful. And on valentines day, he had a card and chocolates for me. He is so sneaky!! I have a great husband! So once we got up, we made a v-day breakfast. Which included, heart shaped biscuits and eggs in a heart shaped glass.

For lunch robby used our left over bacon from breakfast to make a tomato-bacon-mayo sandwich. It was AMAZING!! I actually wanted it again today but we didn't get up in time to make breakfast again haha.

We made heart shaped cookies for ourselves and our neighbors, to share the love :). Robby did most of the decorating on the cookies and he did a great job! He made a special one for madison with an M and a butterfly on it. Isn't he the best dad?
