Alright...what a LONG weekend! Mostly fun though :). Anyways...Friday, Robby was off work so we went to my dads house for a 4th of july celebration and some swimming. As usual, the food was delicious and we left very uncomfortable from eating too much. :) Before we went to my dads, maddie had little gym. So that filled that day up. On Saturday, a girl I have known since before we were two came over with her husband and they cooked us burgers with sweet potatoe fries and plantains (sp?). It was again, VERY good!
As for the non fun part...last week sometime, maddie and I were in the front yard and we both got bit up by something. I never noticed while we were getting bit or that there was anything on maddie, considering she was fully clothed. We noticed the bug bites that night and thought nothing about it. They had healed and looked like they were getting smaller and going away. Well..a week later (last night) we noticed the bug bites were getting bigger...like the size of dimes. Then this morning we looked at them again and they were the size of quarters. I called the on call - doctor and the doctor said to see my doctor within 24 hrs and keep antibiotic ointment on it. About an hour later, i noticed ones on her legs starting to swell up and decided we shouldn't wait and so we went to an urgent care place. Which was the WORST experience of madison's/mine/and robby's lives lol.
They made us wait for over 2 hrs. And for all of you who have babies, that is an EXTREMELY long amount of time for a baby. She was in hysterics by the end of the 2 hrs and it made me start crying. Poor robby had two crying girls in the room. The nurse asked me what was wrong and I let her have it, saying it was ridiculous we had to wait over 2 hrs and she said i could leave the room with maddie if i needed to, which i did since i was so upset! Robby said after I left she made a remark that maddie was probably crying b/c her bug bites hurt and we should have given her tylenol. He said he gave her a snotty remark back saying that she doesn't even flinch when we touch them and that she is extremely tired and missed her nap.
Anyways...we got an ointment and an antibiotic to give to her. So we will hopefully be back to normal in a few days :)

you can see one on her leg stretched out in this picture
