Well, we were packing this morning to go on our trip to corpus christi when we found out that there would be a tropical storm there allllll week. So, instead of sulking around in self pity (like we did a little bit) we decided we would do some things we never get to do as a family this week, here in Houston. Today's trip was to the downtown aquarium! We had soo much fun! You pay $15.99 a person (we lied and said maddie was under 2 so she could get in free) and you get unlimited access to anything of their attractions. Well worth it! We rode the carousel 2 or 3 times and the train twice. We also plan on hitting up the children's museum and the space center...and possibly the beach b/c maddie really had her heart set on that this morning. She kept sitting in her beach chair that gram gram got her and saying "BEACH!!!" So we promised her if the weather changes we will head to gavleston :)
